In celebration, Mo'ynoq will be performing the entire album as well as sharing the stage with some of their favorite acts. Mo'ynoq - "North Carolina's blackened gazers Mo'ynoq followed, performing deftly underneath perpetual shadows. The band's set was obscure and vibrating: a progressive touch layered every proposal, but there was equal rawness, a symbiosis that worked well and created a lively current throughout the crowd. The group ran through compositions which ranged from quick/punk to long/colossal to first-wave black metal. There was crushing width throughout, intricacy and transcendence. Mo'ynoq kept the night fresh and continuous, a midway point of exactness and whipping fury." - invisible oranges www.moynoq.bandcamp.com www.facebook.com/moynoq Prisoner - "Its roaring d-beats careen headfirst into rhythmic, thrumming industrial segments as often as slithery black metal passages crash into bruising metallic hardcore and snappy synths, stirring up a sonic stew that confounds as much as it compels." - noises prisoner.bandcamp.com www.facebook.com/prisoner804 Suppressive Fire - "Suppressive Fire has always worn its influences proudly. Its members cite European thrash icons Sodom and Kreator, proto-death metal legends Death, and grindcore-turned-melodic-death-metal greats Carcass, among others. They freely mine the crypts of old-school death metal for lurching, grimy riffs and burst into peals of scathing black metal. Merging melody and muscle to forge memorable passages in frantic maelstroms, the band's ultimate musical allegiance is clear." - INDY suppressivefire.bandcamp.com www.facebook.com/suppressivefire Bastard Tongue - One of Raleigh's recent additions to our burgeoning Black Metal scene. BT take an atmospheric approach punctuated with thunderous sections of doom and a post hardcore sensibility while maintaining a staggeringly present and emotional resonance. bastardtongue.bandcamp.com/releases
